Vend, a revolutionary concept, was launched in August 2010 in New Zealand. A powerful POS (point of sale) system, Vend has stayed on top of current trends and is one of the most user-friendly retail POS systems on the market. Vend is reportedly one of the biggest point of sale providers in the world. Thousands and thousands of stores across 140 different countries are using Vend POS systems, including Disney, Etsy, the World Wildlife Fund, and NASA.
Vend Ecommerce
Being movers and groovers, it therefore came as no surprise in 2015 to see Vend announce its own e-commerce solution – Vend Ecommerce. This ecommerce tool allowed small businesses to sell in-store, online and on the go. Retailers could add an online storefront quickly to reach a wider audience and combine their POS and e-commerce solutions with a synchronized inventory.
In 2018, however, Vend announced that Vend E-commerce would no longer be available as part of their package.
