Unlike many web design companies, Geek Free was born out of the necessity of finding a simple solution to getting on the web without having to go through the pain of dealing with geeks and people who actually knew little to nothing about marketing in the real world and running a Kiwi business day to day.

In 2003, the founder, Toby Yorke, got his first website and has been assisting businesses get more leads for their companies since 2006.  Toby has built other sites for himself in a range of businesses, so his experience comes from actual implementation, not just creating nice-looking websites. And of course Geek Free has helped numerous other business owners in all sorts of industries to achieve success online. It is this knowledge and experience that we share with you.

We work with all sorts of clients all over New Zealand. Because people want the very best in design, usability and functionality, they turn to us. We’re only a free phone call away on 0800 686 237. Rachel works as an instructional designer, content creator, proofreader and website manager. She is trained as an applied linguist, and during her years working as a teacher of English as a second language she worked with a very wide range of people, of all ages, and cultures. Rachel is a person who is passionate about language, and is also one of those highly annoying people who goes around removing apostrophes from café menus and foolishly trying to correct friends’ grammar at dinner parties.

Rachel is interested in travel. She also enjoys camping, walking, cooking for friends and family using produce from their own gardens and lying around with a good book.

For as long as Clare can remember, design has been a big part of her life. Her career began as a junior artist for one of New Zealands most prestigious graphic designers, Stan Mauger. It was the beginning of an interesting pathway in design that has seen Clare work for several leading advertising agencies, including FCB, McCann Erickson and Mojo.

Clare finds designing for web exciting as no two projects are ever the same. She enjoys interpreting a client brief and making it visually sing.

If she isn’t busy designing a website, Clare can be found enjoying the gorgeous region she lives in with her friends and family or leaping up and down on the soccer sideline.
